THE HOUSE is a historic oasis where people can eat, drink and celebrate day or night in true Florida Riviera style. Located directly on the New River referred to as the Venice of America, in the heart of Downtown Fort Lauderdale.

    Pedimos un té con leche, además de agua. Nos traen el té. Sin leche, sin azúcar, sin edulcorante. Nada. Ni siquiera nos ofrecen. Hacemos el pedido: Philly sándwich, chicken crepe y almond croissant. Nos traen todo menos el almond croissant. Le pido al mesero que nos trae la comida que me traiga edulcorante. Nunca volvió. Viene la mesera que nos tomó el pedido, le dije que no m me habían traído ni el croissant ni edulcorante. Un pedido de 4 cosas me lo trajeron en 6 cuotas Tambien tuvo que venir la encargada a cobrarme porque la mesera trajo el check pero nunca volvió …

    El lugar es muy lindo y el servicio hermoso pero la comida me llegó muy cocinada , mis huevos benedict estaban hervido, muy cocinados , el pan de la pequeña hamburguesa estaba duroooooo no se podía masticar porque estaba muy duro.

    This is the second time that we have experienced slow service in the last two months at this restaurant. The first time we thought it was just a one off because we have eaten at this restaurant many times and have had excellent, timely service. Both times we made reservations with plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely meal and walk to the theatre. Upon arrival we were seated promptly but then no server/waiter came to fill our water or take our order. Several waiters passed our table but no one acknowledged us. Both times we had get the attention of the waiter and tell them we are ready to order. The restaurant is in a prime location with good food but the quality of service needs to tighten up. Lots of people eat there before going to the theatre. We want to relax and enjoy a nice meal and not worry about will our meal be served on time.

    We had a wonderful experience at High Tea with Daniella! Everything was perfect! Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

    Great place, unique charming outdoor seating right along the river. Salmon tartare was really good. Wine by the glass selection was just ok. I had the Chianti braised short rib with mashed, awesome. Slow cooked for 72 hours. My friend got the bolognese pappardelle, also very good. Desert was chocolate mousse my favorite desert, but this was a lame example. Overall really really good. Must try it, great experience unlike most of Fort Lauderdale choices.
