   I booked for myself and my two sisters to celebrate my father’s 90 th birthday and the pub staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We were warmly welcomed and the food was just so delicious and well presented. My father said it was one of the best meals he has ever had. The staff were attentive and friendly and the ambience within the pub was ideal. We will definitely be returning and I have already recommended the pub to a few of my friends.

   This is the second time visiting and this time round they had a new menu. Both times me my partner have been we have been very impressed with the food it was outstanding. We had the fish n chips this time and it the best fish n chips I’ve had by far! The staff are friendly the service was good when we arrived it was not overall busy to start which was nice. My son had a dessert of ice cream which he enjoyed. We will definitely will be back again soon!

   Good service, excellent food. 5 of us, all had different starters and mains, starters arrived together, mains also and every dish looked and tasted fantastic

   As always Sid and his staff always give us a great warm welcome and look after us as impeccably well. The attention to detail is second to none, the food is to die for, you will always eat well here that's a fact. The recommendations of what drink to accompany each meal is alway well thought out and accurate and I consider the price to be very good value for money too. So congratulations guys, you always strive to do well and certainly deliver the excellent product that we have become accustomed to expect. I can highly recommend this as a great place to dine

   It was a lovely evening and food was great more expensive than I’d expected but I was aware it was pricey before booking so not shocked with drinks the meal was around £55-£60 ph ,a lovely place to go for special occasions

   Lovely lunch experience for me and my wife, we just recently moved to the area and wanted to find somewhere local that has a lovely setting and beautiful food and we found it at 'The Hole In The Wall'. Staff were super friendly and polite, food came out in perfect time, and once it did arrive it looked and tasted amazing. Even before we had received our dishes, we noticed just how lovely all the plates coming out were and how devious they smelt. Would definitely recommend The Hole In The Wall!

    1st time here and had read good reviews. Parking is tricky as very small car park and cars were double parked. Food is tasty and fairly reasonably priced but the service was terrible. We were brought the menus but not asked if we wanted a drink. There was water on the table. A long time later someone came to take our food order. Quite a wait for our starters which were fine. Then nothing…in 2 hours we had only had a drink and a starter! We asked a waiter to check with the kitchen and a short time later we had our mains, again fine although nothing special. Waiting staff (family?) were very softly spoken and difficult to hear sometimes. There was no apology for the very long wait/delay. There was no service added to the bill. Not sure we will return.
