The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

Had an amazing meal here for my 35th birthday service was impeccable as always. Food was absolutely delicious never had a bad experience here they go above and beyond every time.

Excellent - very attentive service and a really good seasonal menu with plenty of choices. There was a kids menu but confusion when it came to kids puddings - not on a kids menu so were the restaurant expecting them to have adult ones? we asked if they could have half an adult’s one and they duly obliged….

Excellent friendly service with a great dinner menu. Food was excellent and piping hot. We’ll be back for sure.

Great dining experience after meeting up with a friend. Very friendly welcome. Escorted to our table to the cosy conservatory. Great choices on the menu. Fully recommend the Thai crispy beef salad. It was truly delicious. One scoop of strawberry ice cream to end the meal with. A nice surprise later as a singer was playing live in the bar. She was very good. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Thank you all 👍xxxxx

Overall it was a good experience and good value. The food was very tasty and of good quality but my partner would have preferred the vegetables to be more cooked and a lot hotter, I thought they were fine. Although the front of house staff were very courteous and knowlegeable we felt that the service was quite slow but they were very busy. We waited a long time before being able to order our food and it took at least 20 mins for our table to be cleared before ordering desserts. Having said all that no doubt we will visit the Hinds Head again in the future.

Excellent all round. The cheese and onion pie was a particular highlight. Really friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere.
