The Hawthorn is a Georgian gem in the heart of Haworth, packed full of period features offering a relaxed environment to unwind with friends and family. This warm and appealing gastropub has been renovated throughout to showcase an array of local antiques including a stunning array of Barraclough clocks, homage to John Barraclough himself, Clockmaker to the Brontes, who used to live in this very building in the Georgian era.

We serve only food made using the freshest seasonal British produce and our menu changes through the weeks to reflect this.

We have a custom-made Josper charcoal grill which is the hottest indoor grill available and used by the best restaurants in the country. Cooking on the Josper ensures none of the natural moisture or flavour escapes from the food, whilst at the same time adding the distinct chargrilled taste.

Absolutely fantastic! Went for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed. Beautiful food, excellent service and a lovely surroundings. 10/10

As lovely as always. We usually have Sunday lunch so this was the first time we had eaten from the evening menu. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was excellent as were drinks choices. We will definitely return.

I expected to have a much better experience than we did. I ordered the burger, it was very average but the main issue was that my skin on fries arrived 10 minutes later, I was starting to think that they were an add on that I didn’t order. My husband ordered the dover sole which was virtually impossible to eat as they were full of bones, every single mouthful! Very disappointing experience.
