The Cafe food and drinks menu is bursting with fresh flavour, made with the finest quality ingredients and created with The Grounds own grown and locally sourced produce. The Cafe at The Grounds has team of chefs who constantly push the boundaries and reinvents the classics in order to deliver you perfect flavour combinations that will make you want to come back time and time again.

NOTE: At The Cafe, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to dine in, we operate on a walk-in only basis for smaller tables during peak hours. If no tables are available on arrival, we will add you to an electronic waiting list and text you when your table is ready, leaving you free to explore the rest of The Grounds. Rest assured, all groups on the wait list will be able to dine-in on the day.

The atmosphere there was very nice, but even though we had a reservation, we had to wait a long time to be seated and there were too many people to fully enjoy the place.

Whilst it was nice, I have to say the menu was over priced and we had to send back some of our food. The service was great though

Great service, great food. We didn't have to wait very long to be seated which was good. Was a bit hot but it was an extremely hot day.

Despite having a reservation and confirming it via OpenTable, we were held in a queue for over half an hour in 35 degrees heat, along with many others who also held reservations. Apparently they overbook and take walk ins so all patrons were standing outside in the burning sun, without water. When finally seated, we were ignored and not offered water for over 10 minutes. There was no air conditioning. Some of the menu options had run out. The actual Christmas attraction itself was heaving with people in narrow walkways and was much smaller than expected. It was overcrowded and unenjoyable. A pitiful experience. Save your money and your expectations and go somewhere else. We won’t be returning to this money trap.

Ordered wrong cakes, charged more, fogot to bring ordered food, service attitude ... Food quality and coffee are great, it's just service quality is very low.

Pretty disappointed with the Grounds Cafe. I booked a month in advance and we were sat in an area right next to the toilets - maybe I should’ve just tried to ‘walk in’ and we mightive gotten a better table location?? For such a large complex, I was shocked to see that there were only two cubicles in the female toilet, no toilet paper, no soap, general mess. Aesthetics over cleanliness. Too many people, food took too long to come out. The venue is stunning and I loved the walk-through display, but maybe people should be managed (ie: max amount of people in at once), so it doesn’t feel so much like you’re being herded through. I also didn’t think it was very well signposted, as we had to walk through the whole venue to find the cafe - located right at the back. I did enjoy the coffee tasting set though. Maybe the experience would be better with less people, but it was kind of a lot.
