Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

    The Greyhound is outstanding on every level. The food is superb and very good value for money and the staff are amazing. We are so lucky to call this our local restaurant.

    We cannot recommend The Greyhound highly enough. Everything was perfect as always. Food and ambiance were fantastic. We felt like we were with family. Thank you so so much to the very special Greyhound team.

    What a lovely evening we had here having the tasting menu with wine pairings. We loved being stretched and having wines (and vermouth and saki) that we would not have chosen. This didn’t always work - for us - however we enjoyed the experience and some wines were excellent. The food was amazing and the service top notch- it always is here no matter what you eat. Lovely lovely evening

    Well…. What can I say other than outstanding, we have been regulars at the greyhound since it opened and it’s always consistently excellent on every possible dimension. However, last night..,, it was just sublime…. Every course was just delicious but the highlight, the pigs in blankets, who knew they could be this good. So much more than a wonderful night out.

    Amazing service and food. Great place to have an early Christmas lunch with good friends. We were made very welcome and would definitely return.

    Exceptional dining experience from a passionate team. We felt really looked after from start to finish and the food was outstanding. Our second time here and we’re already looking forward to visiting again soon

    Excellent food; inventive and varied menu. Comprehensive, if expensive, wine list. Wonderfully cheerful and friendly service from a team under pressure as the restaurant was extremely busy. Great choice for a special occasion
