Welcome to The Greyhound, a 17th century coaching inn, in the heart of Beaconsfield Old Town.
Owned and managed by husband and wife team, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump, the pub and restaurant was named as the ‘One to Watch in the UK’s prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs Awards, named a TripAdvisor 2021 Travellers’ Choice Award Winner, and voted the best restaurant in Bucks & Oxon by guests in the annual Muddy Stilettos awards.
The Greyhound is made up of 3 key areas for guests to enjoy: an intimate drinking lounge and outside drinking terrace, the main restaurant for dining (upstairs and downstairs), and an outdoor covered and heated dining terrace.
The different menus showcase a commitment to using the best seasonal British produce available.
The Greyhound also stocks a diverse wine list, developed by Margriet, who is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, as well as a wide range of international beers.

Service is very good - friendly helpful staff . We had the festive lunch menu which was excellent! The presentation and quality of food is outstanding as well as all the little extras to try. Great choice on the wine menu too ranging from a glass to a bottle! Would highly recommend!

The Greyhound delivered as it always does. Easily the best service of any restaurant we have ever visited. Always made to feel welcome and the food is absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend it more highly!

Delightful! Met up with 2 friends for a pre-Christmas lunch - the staff were brilliant, so friendly and knowledgeable. This is our go-to restaurant. Big thanks to all staff - have a great Christmas, you deserve the rest!!!

The Greyhound is outstanding on every level. The food is superb and very good value for money and the staff are amazing. We are so lucky to call this our local restaurant.

We cannot recommend The Greyhound highly enough. Everything was perfect as always. Food and ambiance were fantastic. We felt like we were with family. Thank you so so much to the very special Greyhound team.

Another fabulous meal at The Greyhound. Just such a lovely place for a meal. Outstanding food, staff, pigs in blankets (😋). Great job team.

What a lovely evening we had here having the tasting menu with wine pairings. We loved being stretched and having wines (and vermouth and saki) that we would not have chosen. This didn’t always work - for us - however we enjoyed the experience and some wines were excellent. The food was amazing and the service top notch- it always is here no matter what you eat. Lovely lovely evening
