The Good Reader - Pub & Kitchen is a local Crouch End family-run pub, offering fresh, seasonal, delicious food with excellent wines, batch-made cocktails and the usual suspects on draught. A la carte & kids menu all week harnessed around the Saturday brunch menu and a good old Sunday lunch. Beer garden and the best sun trap in Crouch End on offer.

We are no under 18's after 7:30pm.

10/10 fabulous pub. Great ambience, food and selection of books/boardgames. Super friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back.

Top notch Sunday roast, ticked all the boxes. Service was a bit hit and miss, but to be fair it was a very busy Sunday afternoon

Visited the Good Reader for Sunday lunch, dog-friendly and vibey pub with friendly staff and tasty food. I ordered the lamb shoulder roast, absolutely delicious and fall-apart tender. TGR is becoming a neighborhood favourite of ours!

Have been a few times, first time for a meal and the food was excellent. We love the place and feel lucky to have it in the neighbourhood

My first visit to The Good Reader, and loved it. We were a group of 5 including 2 young children. We had a table in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and I will definitely return

The look and feel of this restaurant were very cozy. Great for Sunday roast and very kid friendly. Delicious roast!
