The George Steakhouse recently opened and is ideally located in the village of Wraysbury, just a short drive away from Windsor Great Park. We are the perfect place to stop by with your nearest and dearest for our mouth-watering 50-day aged Argentine steaks, a selection of draught beers, superb red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from around the world or even a cheeky cocktail. Whatever the occasion, our ambition is to welcome you with our friendly staff and give you a meal that is memorable. Can't go wrong with the steaks, rare was actually rare, done perfectly with good sear. Great service from the staff, nice ambience. If there were more parking spaces available (but there was an event that day so that's ok) would have been a 10/10!

Was our first visit and we wasn’t disappointed Staff were all amazing and the food was delicious Meeting the new pub dog was the highlight though !!

We were a party of four and we all chose a steak meal and we all rated the steak as very good. Shame about the beer though. London Pride was the only cask ale on offer - not very exciting, but fine if served in good condition. Unfortunately it came up tasting like vinegar - not end of barrel - just off. So, as beer drinkers, we were left with draught Guinness or the usual dreary selection of keg IPAs and lagers. So we won’t be going back. Incidentally the ambience was limited by the fact that both restaurant and bar were virtually empty at 8:30 on a Friday night, so I doubt it will survive in its current form. My suggestion to the management would be that, if you really don’t want to make the effort with cask ale, at least offer a varied selection of interesting bottled beers - particularly ones that pair well with a steak meal.

Very pleasant, friendly restaurant with comfortable seating/tabling. The service was attentive and there was a wide enough choice of food to suit our group of 4, from cumberland sausage and mash to fillet steak and more. Good starters and desserts and by thecwaybthe meat was excellent and wecall enjoyed our meals ant the 3 different wines by glass and a bottle.

Food was excellent service was good it was very quiet my only issue was there was a 12.5 service charge included in the bill which is wrong, I like to give my own tip not be made to give one.

Took 50 minutes from time of order to receiving food - was told they were busy with a buffet in the Barn - well they knew that when I made the booking so why no extra staff on hand to take care of that problem - main meal finished and ordered some ice cream, much better this time as it only took 30 minutes They need to think about what staffing they can have if they want a buffet in the Barn to seriously effect their restaurant service - they will not though

the food was ok a little on the expensive side for the quality of it and the service was quite slow we had ti ask for the glasses to be cleared from the table, also the service charge is very expensive st 12.5% for the fact the service is slow, i would rather leave a tip for the staff for the amount I feel is acceptable than made to pay for us £35 service charge ontop of what was an expensive steak for the qulility Its not a place I would return to after this ben our first visit here , I would rather travel a little further and go to prime in Beaconsfield if I wanted steak.
