Stag and his team are ready and raring to welcome you to The Fountain House, a beautiful pub and restaurant overlooking Manchester Town Hall and Albert Square. Whether you’re hoping to enjoy cocktails with a leisurely lunch on our outdoor terrace, you’d like a quick bite with your pint in the bar (pooches welcome!) or you’re looking for a vibrant spot for dinner with friends, come on in, relax and enjoy! We change our menus seasonally and pride ourselves on our delicious and innovative dishes. Don’t forget, our beautiful events space is perfect for meetings and occasions, just get in touch and we’ll do the rest.

Food was really good, we had a great night. We were able to get a spontaneous same day reservation, which was awesome. Would definitely come back here again! Would love to try the Sunday Roast Menu, everything sounded delicious.

Lovely place for a more special meal. The food for our Christmas party was absolutely incredible. It came out quickly and tasted great. Alex C was attentive, friendly and super accommodating. Massive thanks for making the evening special for us as a big group

all very good, service was good but and food tasty but portions smallish (except for fish and chips was massive).

The food was okay when it arrived but the wait was ridiculous, especially given that the place wasn't even half full. We only had mains as we couldn't be bothered to ask for dessert menus and then face another long wait.

Roasties were dry and had the tiniest piece of chicken I’ve ever had on a Sunday roast. Still hungry afterwards
