Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

    Managed to get a table at their very popular Xmas by candlelight event and had a delightful couple of hours. Had to go to the 5.30pm sitting, no others available, which was a bit early for us. Our table was booked for another couple at 7.30pm which we would have preferred. Food was very good. We shared a starter of pate which was unremarkable but the main courses of venison and pork were excellent, as were the desserts. We sat right by the log fire and the premises looked very pretty with lots of fairy lights and candles. Next year we will book earlier and get a later table. Recommended.

    The food was disappointing for two of us who ordered haddock and chips, others who ordered the pork medallions enjoyed them. We were in the Pewter room as we were a party of 6. The real ale is always excellent.

    We have booked to celebrate my boyfriend's Birthday. He specifically asked to go to the Fleece as it is always good food and such a lovely atmosphere. The service is personable and kind, and the food is amazing. It really is the best pie. It's also worth keeping an eye on their events calendar as they have a lovely outside area and lots of live music events.

    Best pub we’ve been too so far, we try and go once a month for a meal and then watch one of the bands and every time we’re so happy with the service, food and atmosphere. Also the Moris dancing and the new year party is brilliant!

    Lovely food we had 3 courses and all were very tasty, perfectly cooked and very yummy, lovely location and very quaint English countryside pub, and unfortunately I asked the waitress who took our drinks order, for a pint of Stan’s (not sure what it was as couldn’t see the full beer tab at the bar, asked her and confirmed that I wanted a Stan’s she said no problem, I was bought a pint of mild, which I guessed it was, but then on paying at the bar just before leaving managed to look at the pump tab and it was a cider, so I never got to try the drink I wanted. Apart from that it was very nice, great atmosphere and service

    Food was nice, table was too small for 4 people with drinks and food. The bar staff were friendly and the service was good
