Welcome to the Fleece Inn, Bretforton.
The Fleece Inn is the perfect rural retreat, the quintessential English country pub. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful Cotswolds and boasting roaring open fires for the winter months, open garden and apple orchard for the summer sun and a friendly welcome all year round.
With real ales and ciders aplenty this historical pub is a favourite with Real Ale lovers, and the welcoming atmosphere and good food attract visitors from all over the world.
Seasonal and local ingredients are prized, including our famous Asparagus menu in Spring.

Reservable tables are in the pub (standard) or undercover in our orchard (outdoor). There are lots of orchard picnic tables that are not reserved in advance, available for eating and drinking in the sunshine! Dogs are welcome throughout the pub & orchard.

Great pub with lovely food, book to avoid disappointment. Staff attentive and not constantly hurrying you along. Lovely setting and the open fire a treat in this cold weather.

Service was slow food over cooked and it was very cold in the dinning area we was in . Table 2a . Wouldn’t recommend this venue in the winter , it maybe better on a warm summers day . My fish cake was hard on the bottom (over cooked) my Gloucester slow roast pork was dry and tough . Sadly I can’t recommend this lovely looking tavern

The Fleece is a lovely old pub Very quirky. I enjoyed the no nonsense food, cooked beautifully. The open fire is very inviting, but I do worry about safety and think there should be a fire guard. Overall, a nice evening out.

Food was very nice and plenty of it Only downside was it was cold. Although there was a fire it wasn't giving off much heat and there were drafts constantly through the building. Yes it old but you needed the fire properly tending to offset this

Really tasty meal - enjoyed by all 4 of us. Service was good and the ambience by the log fire outstanding.

Excellent food, great beer, with a good choice of real ale, open fires and dog friendly. Beautiful old building, helpful efficient staff, friendly locals . Definitely recommend booking as it was full for most of the evening on a Thursday.

What an amazing lunchtime experience. A fantastic old building with so much history. The food was excellent and the service perfect and very attentive. We will definitely return in May when we are back in the area. It's a must ! don't miss out if you are visiting the area.
