Swing Night returns to The Farmhouse! December 13th, Frank and Cassidy Wallace will be back to lead an East Coast Swing dance class from 7-8 PM, then we'll open the dance floor for the rest of the night. Our cash bar and bites menu will be available to keep you fueled as you dance the night away. All skill levels and ages are welcome, whether you’ve danced for years or this is your first time on the dance floor.

! Please note: the Fern & Fable is not currently open for regular business hours. Restaurant hours are limited due to private events at our venue, The Farmhouse at People’s Light. When the Fern & Fable is open for special dining experiences, reservations are required. Contact the restaurant by calling 610.647.1631 x158.

We had an excellent Thanksgiving Day dinner. Restaurant was not overcrowded, service was solid and food was excellent. We will return.

We stumbled on the Thanksgiving buffet at Fern & Fable in 2023. We couldn’t wait to return this year. We love the food, and the picky kids in the family love it, too. The service is great and everyone is personable. This year we had a last minute need for two children and 1 adult who had nowhere to go for a holiday dinner. I sent an email to the email address listed and received a response right away from the event coordinator, Dawn, saying it was “no problem” to add them to my reservation. That made my whole day and was greatly appreciated! Great place, great food, wonderful management!

Thanksgiving Day Buffet at The Farmhouse has become an annual tradition. This year featured a range of delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes, in addition to turkey and steamship ham carving stations. Paired with seasonal cocktails (the gluwein is warm perfection) / mocktails (like the warm apple-cider mocktail) and a good selection of beer and wines.

What a fabulous Thankgiving buffet! There was something for everyone, as well as all of the traditional favorites. And the wait staff is the best!

Great Oktoberfest! Chef and Manager have extensive German culinary and hospitality experience, so outstanding food selection and preparation. Curated beer (and, as usual, wine and cocktail/mocktail) options. We were regaled with flawless accordion music throughout, featuring polkas, waltzes, and German folk tunes. Please make this an annual tradition!

Great dance night, we hope you will continue to keep these going. Love the authentic swing and rock'n'roll music, great floor. Lot of fun.

Comedy Night was GREAT, starting with an outstanding summer buffet, craft cocktails / mocktails throughout, and wrapping up with three stand-up performers from Roux Comedy including Missy Hall, who could make a rock smile!

The food was served as a buffet and was excellent. The chicken and beef were melt in your mouth tender. The beverages were a little pricey. The tables where we ate and sat for the show were pretty tiny and we had to be careful not to light the menu on fire from the candle. We had a great view of the comedians and the show was very entertaining.
