    We visited on Christmas Eve with a party of four and had a reservation. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. The restaurant did not seem super crowded, but the service was slow. Took asking twice for a sweetener caddy and the food took an inordinate amount of time to come out given the number of open tables. Food wise, let me share the positive - the garlic steak bites were very good. The deviled eggs were also good, but not something I’d order again. My husband got the sirloin with a side of garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was very good, but the potatoes were very dry; almost crumbly. Speaking of crumbly, my son ordered the Chicken and Biscuits. The biscuits were hard, dry, and crumbled; he had to ask the manager for fresh biscuits. The chicken and gravy portion was lukewarm warm and based on the “coating” and texture of the gravy, it was clear it sat under the heat lamp far too long. Again, given the number of guests, not sure why the food sat so long. Two of us had salmon. Both entrees were also luke warm and the fish was dry; I assume it also sat under the heat lamp too long. My son ordered a second cocktail that didn’t arrive and the server told us it went to the wrong table so we were pretty much finished eating by the time the drink arrived. I will admit that other than the biscuits, we did not send any food back because the amount of time to get the entrees the first time, we didn’t have time to wait any longer. One good entree out of four and not such good service isn’t a good enough score to get me to visit again having spent $240 for a mediocre experience.

    My family and I recently dined at The Farmhouse and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the pan-seared rockfish, which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The charred corn and risotto was standout side that I thoroughly enjoyed. My family members couldn't stop raving about the smashed potatoes and honey Old Bay wings—they were a hit at our table! Our waiter was incredibly helpful with dinner selections and attentive throughout the meal, making our experience all the more enjoyable. The ambiance was lovely, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I highly recommend The Farmhouse for a delightful dining experience!

    The hostess and our waitress were really friendly and nice. The speed of getting our food and drinks were really slow. It took over an hour to even get our food. The order we placed last, we had a late party member, arrived first and then maybe 30 mins later the rest of the food arrived. It took about 20 mins to even get two drinks. They tell you not to take over 2hours here but it’ll be almost 2 hours before you even get your food. The food was interesting. The pork sausage gravy was overloaded with pepper which made it hard to eat. The cinnamon French toast was mushy but still tasted good. The cornbread was not good at all. Also paying $7 for a small thing of it was kinda crazy.

    Picked this place to try with friends we haven’t seen in a while. The menu had a great variety of foods and flavors. The prices were great for a farm to table place. The food was very good. We had the Duck, Meatloaf, and ribeye. Drinks were great. We’ll definitely be back.

    Service was not the best. Waiter was nice but took very long to take our order and also did not follow up with us for additional drinks and then had to look for him to get check. Only bad part about the experience.

    The venue is lovely and very clean but service was inattentive and indifferent. Water glasses were never refilled nor refillable bottle provided, drink from bar took 21 minutes to arrive and only after asking about it, periodic food checks did not occur, and dirty dishes were not removed. Brunch entrees were nicely plated and arrived with a mountain of potatoes but the taste was not impressive. The asparagus was woody and undercooked. One of my guests received a lukewarm entree despite arriving in an iron skillet. I would have complained but the server never showed up to check on us. Quite frankly, it is unnerving when the restaurant automatically tacks on an 18% service charge for barely any service. I had to apologize to my guests for the poor dining experience that afternoon.

    Not sure if they’re still working out the kinks of being new. Entree came with no short ribs on the plate. Service terribly slow.
