Nice meal out with friends … great menu … service was a bit slow but I think that reflects the staff issues in the hospitality sector … good service from the staff … efficient attentive … good food definitely will come again

We have been a few times for Sunday lunch but found this experience disappointing. Roast dinner was cold, no pork loin, and roast potatoes substituted for baby new potatoes. Waitress didn’t visit table often and had to ask for coffees and drinks. Gentleman behind bar was excellent as we have experienced previously. Overall just dissapointed

Very tasty food that has clearly been patiently produced with care. Shame it wasn’t as hot as we wanted.

It was a bit quiet so difficult to say about ambience. Staff very friendly and chef went the extra mile as I have an allergy. Food was very good. Service a little slow.

I asked about potion size of the crispy duck salad and was reassured that it was bigger than my last visit. I'm sorry to say but in my opinion, is still only a starter sized potion. My 3 guests all had Sunday lunch but all had to have beef, that's all they had left, not complaining about that but the food when served, was at best Lukewarm. It took around 5 minutes after the food had been delivered for the gravey to arrive. Overall I thought the service was poor.

Good and service was amazing me and my mum didn’t like the dessert as it wasn’t to our Aztec and they didn’t charge us did it which was a lovely. Definitely a great experience will be coming again very soon l.

Food was great the lamb main was excellent only irritation was the drinks menus both had food and pages stuck - please clean them when you are paying £120 a meal I do expect it !

The food was very good, although expensive for what it was. The waitresses were very attentive, but the food was slow coming out of the kitchen, so quite a wait between courses. The restaurant was not busy, so must have been a lack of staff doing the actual cooking.

Staff were lovely and gave us 10% off without asking due to slow service. However the food look so so long to come and the food wasn’t the best. Missing key elements, kind of like a weeknight dinner rather than a gastro pub. Saffron parmentier potatoes were just new potatoes cut up small in with the fish. Puddings were s bit dry. Got the general vibe they didn’t have enough staff in the kitchen. But front of house tea were AMAZING
