The lush and breezy waterfront atmosphere of The Easterly embraces the beauty of the simplistic and
laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant
and bar take on a Bohemian-island vibe. The menu will be ocean-to-table focused, with ceviches, crudos,
octopus, shellfish & lobster, and whole grilled fish as mainstays. We also pride ourselves in our extensive
wood grilled steaks and chops. Locally grown produce and local flavors compliment the dishes, all cooked
over the kitchen’s wood-fired oven, adding distinct rustic flair to each plate. The Easterly offers one of the
Virgin Island’s most robust beverage programs with innovative craft cocktails, twists on Caribbean
favorites and an extensive list of craft beers and wine. The rustic island menu and outdoor locale promise
a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience in the heart of Red Hook on the East End of St.
Thomas.

    It was New Year’s Day. They were out of chicken and pork chops before 8 pm. They were busy but certainly not jammed. Disappointing since we were beefed out. Nice casual place - waiter was acceptable but not outstanding.

    Our bartender, Jonathan, was a fantastic mixologist with great suggestions. He took good care of us and was very conversational. The food was by far the best since we have been on the island. The ceviche was so fresh, ribs were falling off the bone and our seafood risotto was to die for. Overall it was a great experience. We will def be back.

    We went on NYE and they had a fixed menu which they sent an email and let us know. It was 125/pp. We had a party of 4. We had a total of 5 bar drinks between us, and 2 bottles of water. Food was really good , but our bill was $724. It was definitely not worth that much money so be prepared for an expensive meal.

    No view, next to bay but covered by trees and buildings. Forced to have prix fixe menu and rushed through the service.

    Incredibly nice people but a total miss. Food quality can be summed up by the fact we could taste the gas flavor from the gas grill they used to cook our steak. 2lb lobster was totally overcooked that it took a knife and fork to even eat it. Feel awful about leaving this review but want others to be aware. It’s holiday time but ya can’t be out of so many items that are menu staples. A ton of money for not the quality that the reviews suggested. Can’t say enough about how nice the manger was, but table after table was complaining about the same thing. Offered us drinks and even desert but we were so burnt from the poor entrees that we just wanted to go home.

    Great menu. Food was delicious. Loved the cocktail and mocktail menu. So far, this was the family’s favorite in St. Thomas.
