We start with free range, all-natural chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. It's got a little kick and is served with our house-made hot honey. But we don't stop there - Southern-style sides grace our menu, craft beer flows through our taps, and Blues music pumps through our speakers. At The Eagle, it's all about flying right, eating bird, and curing the Blues.

I booked the Eagle for dinner because my wife was craving soul food. We got the hush puppies, fried chicken, blt chicken sandwich, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and corn bread. The food was soooooooooo good. Best Mac & cheese I’ve ever had at a restaurant! We also got a peach drink (I can’t find it on the menu) and the Bourbon Punch, both were fantastic. We loved everything about our experience. Our waitress was also very good and just the right amount of attentive.

Nice place, good selection on the menu. They do not carry Uncle Nearest Whiskey which was a negative, but hey (shrug). The bartender was slow getting to the task of making our drinks but our drinks tasted great. The music really did not coincide with the city location or the theme of the food but if you are having conversation you can block it out. TVs are abundant so it would be a great place to catch a game.

Great night at the Eagle. All staff very friendly and couldn’t have been nicer. Food great and ambience great. Our main waitress Shira very attentive and had the perfect personality for the restaurant to help make the evening.

The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best! My group and I loved that we could all get different sides to try to go along with the sandwich. The Mac and Sweet Potatoes were our favorite sides! Will definitely be back again.

This was our 3rd time here and our best friends, their first . They can't wait to go back ! Everything was great !! In our top 10 restaurants in Detroit !
