   The food and views were superb, staff very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the two rounds were incorrect, what a pity, Staff were apologetic and resolved quickly. One mistake could be excused but two?

   The pub was packed when we went with a good, relaxed atmosphere. We had excellent food and good efficient service. Thank you - a happy night.

   Country pub with great views. Comfortable environment with friendly staff. My only constructive feedback is to provide a bigger portion of vegetables for the vegan roast dinner option, - especially since the parsnip and Yorkshire pudding don’t have an alternative. Oh, and definitely more gravy! But otherwise it was LOVELY, and we will definitely come back again, - we just know to ask for extra gravy when placing our order 😛 If you’re in the area, it’s a lovely pub to come to, and take a stroll afterwards along one of the many footpaths in the area.

    I’ve visited The Dumb Post Inn a few times, including a memorable birthday meal that was truly fantastic. So, it was disappointing to find that today’s outing with my mum didn’t meet their usual standards. The roast was inconsistent, with dry meat and undercooked vegetables—a real shame for this Wiltshire gem. However, the front-of-house service was, as always, excellent and friendly. Hopefully, they’ll return to form next time.
