Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Our 6 story restaurant boasts six unique floors, each with gorgeous views of downtown. The creole mahi mahi was bland. I rarely salt food in restaurants, but I used a generous amount of salt and pepper. The grits they were served on also lacked flavor. The green beans were decent. For $28, it should have been much tastier. The service was great, and I like the ambience, but I won't go back. There are too many other great choices nearby.

Very nice dinner, great service and speedy! We come back every time we are in Nashville. Love the place and it is conveniently located.

We were seated on the 5th floor and enjoyed the city lights! No view and no noise from the Honky Tonks which is nice break for us. The Gouda grits were a hit and all the other menu items we ordered were very good too.

Not our first visit, we come every time we’re in Nashville. Sadly this time the food was disappointing, the tomatoes on the southern salad were definitely not fresh and the pretzels were rock hard.

Food is always quality… but I think charging extra percentage to use one’s credit card is truly unfair. I own a business that takes credit card and well versed in the cost of using the card. This truly made me feel taken advantage of, so much of my tab was tax, liquor fees, tip, credit card charge. On the service side, the waiter spilled my wife’s espresso martini on her, then just served what hadn’t spilled ( he did say he was sorry). The kitchen forgot my son’s meal, we all sat there and watched him eat for 10 minutes. On so many levels, y’all did not do the right thing. I know times are tough, but they are tough for ALL of us, passing your costs in this manor and providing subpar customer service is why we will not be returning to your establishment
