You will find The Diggle hotel to have a cosy pub which offers a range of traditional home cooked and locally source food. Families and walkers are welcome and there is a beer garden for alfresco drinking and dining.

Our nearest bus stop is "Sunfield Lane" on Huddersfield Road in Diggle and is served by the 84, 184, 356 and 558 bus services and is a 5 minute walk down Sam Road. Our neaest train station is Greenfield Station, and is a 10 minute drive, or 1 hours walk to our pub and restaurant.

Service and food was outstanding, the staff were so polite and couldn't do enough for us. I will definitely be returning. Only downside was me and my partner chose the 2 for £10 meals and we received the smaller portions in the deal but were actually charged full price.

Very good value lunch on a gorgeous day. Beer garden is a great spot.

Food undercooked, very slow service, not nearly enough staff

Hello Chloer, I would love to hear more about your disapointing visit, we have addressed the staffing issues which in turn will address the slow service. Lovely pub in a lovely place. Nice big garden with good outdoor seating. Menu a bit sparce but serviceable. Food was a good portion and staff were excellent considering the times we are living in. For cheap and cheerful food and drink, cannot fault it. Will return.

Hello Mark, We are currently running with a reduced menu whilst we are restricted to outdoor service. there will be a litle more choice when we feel confident that we can operate inside and out. The food was really good , just a shame about the service . This is the first week back open in outdoor setting . Beautiful views from out table which made our day . We had to wait nearly 2 hours from ordering for our food to come , we were then asked if we needed any condiments, which never arrived Really sad as food was really good Sadly we won’t be returning 😞

Hello Helen, I am really sorry that your visit wasnt what you expected, I know this is know excuse but during the first week back we had some staffing issues and was overwhlemed with the support for our business. We are now back to ood staffing levels and are able to manage all our bookings much more smoothly. I would really appriacate if you would give us a second chance, to make a great first impression.
