    To all staff at Derby Inn Both the starters and the main meals were excellent. The staff polite and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. My birthday lunch was truly special. Thank you.

    Warm welcome, smiley staff. Drinks came speedily. Orders taken at the right moment - not hassled but we didn't have to wait either. Food very tasty (I had chicken stroganoff). 2nd visit and will come again.

    Really enjoyable Sunday lunch in a quaint traditional pub restaurant. The atmosphere with Christmas decorations and wood fire made it so cosy. Lovely staff and a great menu. Drinks were pricey but food was good value. The service was absolutely first class. We will be spending many Sunday lunches here in 2025 Many thanks

    Very disappointed with the my starter and main meal. The starter had pesto in which wasn’t started so as I don’t like pesto it ruined my starter and I had chicken and ribs for my main. The ribs were all fat and gristle. I did mention it to the server and all he said was he would mention it to the kitchen. Very disappointed and won’t be rushing back which is a big shame.

    My family and I are no strangers to the Derby Inn. We love it there. We came in for dinner today and once again we had an amazing experience. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and communication from staff. Food was delicious and for four of us, the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend!
