Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

We also regularly host brunches and special events with brands like Whispering Angel, Moët & Chandon, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and more.

Food and service very good, sat at the bar after our meal and the bar staff were friendly, will definitely return.

We booked for our anniversary in Leeds. Staff were polite and professional. The building and ambiance impressive. We enjoy a decent lager and chose the signature beer ‘ cut and craft Yorkshire’. Sadly the beer was flat before we reached our table. We had a booth on the upper floor which was lovely. I chose the ‘signature flat iron steak’ sides of creamy mash, asparagus and bone marrow gravy. The sides were all fine and yet the streak was disappointing, chewy and in parts stringy. My wife had a beef burger with fries which she described as ok. None of the food was piping hot. As I’ve said the setting was amazing but overall the food did not meet our expectations and we left feeling a little underwhelmed.

Excellent food. Had to wait 25 minutes at the bar for a drink while waiting for our table to be ready despite being on time for our booking.

I had delicious oysters to start followed by ribeye steak with truffle and parmesan fries. I then had cheese for dessert. Service was excellent.

Having checked the gf options the week before - by calling in - in particular that gf pancakes were an option - disappointed to find on the day of our booking - not the case. Underwhelming experience - decor nice / decadent feel - but Gf options not good / gf bread cheap / fried eggs hard / we sat opposite the kitchen and saw numerous plates waiting to be taken to tables - no urgency - allergen sheet showed that every menu option had cereal in it - what’s the point of that if you are coeliac or gluten intolerant !!!! Even the waitress seemed bewildered. Could do so much better - won’t rush there again 2 out of 5 is being generous.

Front of house very polite, but they didn’t ensure we were served drinks while we waited in the seating area outside. Eventually we were shown to the upstairs bar which was full so we stood waiting for 10 mins without any service. After we ordered drinks, another 10 mins before we received them. Ordered more drinks mid meal, they didn’t come until after we had finished. Food was excellent though. Reduced the tip by half because the food service was quick, thorough and smiley so not all poor fortunately.

Christmas Eve booking, ordered food and drinks and would say in less than 5 minutes food arrived even before drinks brought to table-definitely not cooked to order. Must say food was delicious. We then ordered 2 Irish coffees which were cold this was quickly rectified by a lovely female manager. Not the service expected from Cut & Craft

Last minute booking for Christmas Eve lunch with mother. Had a live singer who was awesome! Stem was cooked to perfection and all three courses were very tasty albeit a tiny bit over priced. Service could have been a touch more attentive but the staff are all generally very lovely and friendly. Great meal and will definitely be returning.
