The Cricketers Inn is everything you would expect from a traditional country pub: cosy interiors, open fire, well-kept ales, local gins, a good selection of wine and a warm welcome from the team. You can choose to dine in the restaurant, the dog-friendly bar area, or outside in our large beer garden.

    Thursday 20th March, 7pm 5-course tasting menu for £65 per person. A different yet fabulous evening to be had at The Cricketers Inn. Each of our chefs will be cooking their own course for this special evening. The courses have been chosen and here's the line-up: Amuse bouche - Evie Starter - Hayley Fish Course - Harry Main Course - Tarren Dessert - Robbie Menu will be released soon! Evening to start at 7pm for 5-courses.

    Most of the food was good. One main course out of 6 was undercooked and returned. Still not right but alternative offered( refused) and then that serving was taken off the bill. All done with good Grace, well done!

    Amazing Sunday roast! We enjoyed the perfectly cooked sirloin roast beef and trio of meats. The crispy roast potatoes and selection of vegetables were also delicious! Family friendly local pub, would highly recommend!

    Lovely Sunday Roast!! The whole thing was lovely and the new Chocolate Hazelnut moose was divine.

    Amazing food. Really crispy roast potatoes which is rare to find! Really enjoyable food however lunch took over 3 hours for 3 courses which is a bit much.

    The Sunday roasts were superb, we had chicken, turkey, lamb and pork , One of each!) The service was excellent and we were not rushed, even though, due to a miscommunication on our part, we were an hour late starting our meal. We look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you to all the staff for great service.

    Disappointing. Overcooked lamb. Had to request mint sauce and apple sauce. Overall comparing to other local pubs we didn't have the good meal we'd expected.

    Most amazing roast pork lunch today, very good sized portion. Followed by the ice cream in a brandy snap basket with toffee sauce and popcorn, delicious! Staff very attentive and friendly. Good value too.

    A tasty Sunday lunch and a lovely venue. Friendly staff and we parked right outside the pub. Prices have gone up a little in 2025 but its quality food. Try it, we recommend this place for couples or families.

    This is a lovely venue which we have visited on a few occasions. This visit was on a Sunday for lunch. Very busy and consequently quite noisy, which was expected. However it was very cold despite having a lot of people there. The roast was a very good size with plenty of vegetables on the side, but the meals could have been hotter.
