Located on the shores of Nagawicka Lake in the heart of Lake Country, The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant inhabits the historic property that first opened in 1902 as the Pleasant View Hotel and Resort and was most recently the Seven Seas for nearly four decades. Operated by The Bartolotta Restaurants, the premier restaurant and catering organization in the Greater Milwaukee region, The Commodore – A Bartolotta Restaurant is named for the leader of classic yacht clubs and embraces the historical significance of the past with modern touches of elegance. The unique, expansive property has been thoughtfully reimagined to include a remarkable suite of dining and event experiences, including a restaurant, intimate private dining rooms, and expansive outdoor space for groups and gatherings.

Reservations are recommended, and we have a 15-minute grace period, so please call us if you are running late.

We enjoyed a very tasty beef wellington and the Waldorf salad was really quite good. If you are looking for fine dining along with breathtaking sunset views, definitely try The Commodore, a worthy addition to the Bartolotta family of restaurants!

It was lovely but pricey! Very nice for special occasion. Not a weekly establishment.

Had dinner tonight at the Commodore & was not impressed. The food lacked that pop in flavor. Just bland. Had the shrimp cocktail, & Beef Wellington which was well done inside, not medium rare, it was dry & the little potatoes on the plate next to it taste like they were burnt. Had a lobster tail on the side ($50) which was great, but no drawn butter, instead they give you something that tastes like vegetable oil to dip it in. Ruined the taste of the lobster & for the price, how about some real drawn butter? Atmosphere was nice & wait staff good, but for the price, I think there’s better dining options out there.

This was our second time at this restaurant and will probably be our last one. The food was horrible and service just mediocre.

While I have this all 5s the only minor complaint I have is that the bread service could have improved with some? more? Maldon salt on the butter. The prime rib was also slightly under seasoned. But everything was really prepared perfectly and the service was expert and attentive. Highly recommended The Commodore.

The decor is beautiful and very comfortable. All service persons were pleasant and engaging from the hostess desk, to the bar staff, and the table servers. All very well trained, personable, and perfectly attentive. The food is exquisite. We are anxious to try more items from the menu. This is a "must visit" restaurant!!
