              To start. It was so dark and There were no streetlights. we had a very hard time finding the restaurant. Next the noise level was so.loud due to women at the bar. We couldn't hear ourselves talk. We love octopus and order it wherever we go. This had to be the most tasteless and rubbery octopus that we have ever had. We sent it back and it was replaced with the tomato and burrata salad. The tomatoes were wonderful but the burrata was so salty that we couldn't eat it. Our entrees were well prepared. We had the salmon and halibut. Both were perfectly done. Although the front of house staff was excellent and accommodating, service was very very slow. There must be a problem in the kitchen. I.just dont understand all the great reviews

              We dined at The Colony Club on Dec 6 evening for a family dinner for my husband’s 50th birthday which we communicated to the server. While my husband was in the men’s room, imagine our surprise when the server brought over a dessert with a candle. When my daughters and I told her he would be back shortly, she asked if I would like to blow out his candle instead. It wasn’t just what she said but how she said it - rudely and incredulous we asked her to return with dessert when he had. Perhaps she was untrained, had a bad day or was just plain clueless regarding work in the service industry. Regardless, I didn’t dock her tip - it’s just not my style but I did want to share feedback so management can train her appropriately. It was not a particularly busy night and there was only one other table occupied in the indoor section.

              Made a res for noon for outside. Arrived on time and wait staff said we would need to wait for an outside table. Waited at the bar and had a drink. Table became available and manager said other people were waiting longer (they arrived after us)m and we had a res for outside) and gave the table to them. Our waitress apologized and we went outside for a drink after we finished eating. If you’re seen the Seinfeld “you know how to take a reservation but not hold a reservation” you’ll know what we experienced.

              One of the most Palm Springs things you can ever do for breakfast or brunch. A tradition. Just beautiful.

              Great ambiance and cool space but food has gone way downhill from our last visit in fall 2023. Service was OK not great. Very expensive and not really worth it. Cocktails are great. Good spot for a drink — but wouldn’t come for dinner again.

              Unfortunate experience due to delays with service and food preparation. Waiter was very nice but we waited FAR too long for the food! Have had much better visits in the past - a shame for a place with a menu at these prices!

              The food was very good.; highly recommend the chicharrones. The service staff seemed to have been short-handed. Our server kept waiting on the drinks; not sure what was happening at the bar. Overall this was a 2 and a half hour meal that could have been better managed/handled.
