Went to trouble of booking table and confirming we would be there . Arrived to be told KITCHEN CLOSED. Not the way to run a business girl behind not interested and almost rude will not recommend to friends and will not return Why take booking if kitchen closed

Food was amazing! Staff were attentive but not intrusive and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend

Food & service were excellent. The pub has been really upgraded and felt warm, comfy & inviting. It was very busy, but all the staff were very efficient & friendly and every table was checked on regularly. The small plates and desserts we had were absolutely delicious & well presented. Some of the other food we saw go past us to other tables also looked delicious, so we'll have to go back to try the rest of the menu!! Merry Christmas to the whole Clumsy Cock team and best wishes for an even more amazing 2025!

Absolutely fantastic place. Staff incredible so friendly & couldn’t do enough to make your day special. The food was just outstanding highly recommend this fabulous pub

Great food, we had a Sunday roast with pork, slow cooked beef and chicken - so much of it, attentive service, felt good value for money and lovely ice cream at the end. Will be back!

Great food super busy. Was really loud. Great if you were at a party but noisy if you wanted just to chat. Definitely go back though

Raclette is my favourite food so I was biased in favour of the The Clumsy Cock simply for holding Raclette Night. The food was excellent and even gained high praise from my very fussy vegetarian husband (FVH)- a first time for everything! Crispy sauteed potatoes, a huge helping of delicious, molten raclette fondue, a pile of sourdough bread, heaps of very high quality charcuterie with cornichons, silverskin onions and slices of grilled steak. The perfect meal. In the spirit of adventure and exploration rather than pure greed I then had the trio of puddings: a sprightly but creamy lemon posset, a divine pistachio cheesecake and a fudgy chocolate brownie. I admit, I took the brownie home as explosion point had been reached and I reluctantly shared the posset. Everything was delicious. Service was delightful - friendly and informed but not overfriendly. I thought the meal was exceptionally good value. It was worth a great deal to make the FVH happy! I suggested to our waitress that the chef be persuaded to hold a Poutine Night. Here's hoping Canada's great gift to world cuisine will feature soon at the Clumsy Cock.
