Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

    There were so many people in the foyer, there was no where to sit or stand. Very uncomfortable for an elderly, handicapped person. The time waiting on a table was approximately 30 minutes. The waitress seemed forgetful and maybe frustrated. The food was excellent and plenty of it. My husband asked for a medium filet and it was actually rare. He ate it anyway and said it had a good flavor. We will go there again but not anytime close to a holiday.

    We made reservations it was our first time there we still had to wait an hour ! I was very excited because of all i heard of how good the service and food was . I can say i was very disappointed in the salad I got barley any chicken on it and we got apples and had something weried in it and I cut in to it I guess it was a mushroom. Also our waitress was not nice at all or did she ask how the was we barley seen her some brought our food I ask for bread and didn't receive it . So not a great review for me .$90.00 later

    We have eaten at Chop House since its original opening and it continues to be our favorite! We can always expect excellence, and it didn’t disappoint this time either :)

    We were a little disappointed in the prime rib cut. My girlfriend and I ordered 16oz prime rib and the visual difference in size was very noticeable. My cut was about 1” to 1 1/4” thick. Her cut was under a 1/2” cut to 3/4”. If I was to guess she only got about a 10oz. The meal and service was good, but disappointed in her cut of prime rib.

    Ordinarily Chop house is always at the top of their game but not this time. We had reservations for 5:30 ,I asked how much longer the wait would be at 5:45,and they said my table was ready. Then they sat us in the bar in a cramped corner 2 feet from the bar. Needless to say it was extremely loud. The waitress was great but the food wasn't very good at all,both steaks were cooked wrong and full of grissle,my wife couldn't eat hers and the potatoes were barely warm. The salads were very good. When someplace has prices as high as they do,you expect better.I should have went to Longhorn.

    I have recently moved to the area and the Chop House was recommended to me by a family member. The first time I went it was a busy Sunday and I probably waited 30 minutes for a table, when I got to the table we sat there for maybe two or three minutes when the manager came by and apologized for the wait and took our drink order, then the evening continued and our entrees came out and my steak was a little raw so my server, Tyler, who was awesome, took it to get it cooked more, and the manager came back again. I explained it was our first time and that we had just moved here. He brought my steak back out and the second time it was perfect and I had a new potato! Then when we received the check our appetizer had been taken off the bill. I thought we had a pretty good experience nothing special but good I didn’t expect any type of discount. Then he brought me a gift card! and apologized that our first time here wasn’t up to their standard so he wanted to bring us back in for a better experience. I’ve been back once a week since and I don’t plan on stopping! The servers have all been great and the food is always delicious but the fact that the managers are so involved with your customers is what sets this place apart from other places I’ve dined.
