Overall Chop House was a good dining experience. The host and hostess were friendly and my date and I were early for our reservation so they offered to seat us at the bar for drinks. The bartender was very good. The bar area had a warm atmosphere but we were seated upstairs for dinner and the room was so cold we both ate dinner with our puffy jackets on. We both ordered salmon M/R and both filets were undercooked. The mashed potatoes had good flavor but were a bit over salted. I would steer clear of the salmon and go with a beef entree.

The atmosphere was casual. The food was amazing. We started with a black bean hummus appetizer. My friend had the catfish soup and I had the sirloin and duck fat fries. I ordered three specialty sauces to compliment the meat. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Fries were great too. We took home a dessert because we were so full but we couldn’t pass up one of their homemade treats. Missy was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. We would definitely go back and try another dish next time in town.

We loved our dinner at the Chop House. Fabulous food and service and a wonderful dining atmosphere. Absolutely recommend.

Our meal was amazing!! The food was excellent. Our server was so sweet and professional. Checked on us often. The Chop House Bistro was beautiful. We enjoyed our dinner and it made a nice night for my husband’s birthday!! Thank you.

Loved our food. Felt like they were rushing us out (had an 830 reservation, would have loved an earlier one but that was all that was available).

Such a treat to be able to have a genuinely incredible meal while on a national park trip! Everything we tried was great. Be sure to make a reservation!

Very Delicious food - we had steak,salad and scrumptious French fries and outstanding service. I have food sensitivities which they readily accommodated but kept everything super tasty; can’t ask for more than that

Dining here has become a highlight during our group’s annual visit to Luray. The crab salsa with chips was inventive and refreshing and we each ordered filets which were perfectly prepared and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The service was spot on as always.

We went for our wedding anniversary which they knew about beforehand. Not impressed that our table was in a corridor and had broken chair. Food poor and overpriced. The sirloin steak was the driest steak I have ever been served. Totally ruined our night. Don’t go!!
