The Cavendish’s stylish private dining room is ideal for working breakfasts, celebratory lunches, private dinners and drinks, or any celebration that requires a sophisticated but relaxed ambience. The space has recently been completely refurbished and can hold 18 people for a sit-down breakfast, lunch or dinner, and comes with its own private bar and dedicated bartender. The room also has a large screen and full AV so is also suitable for meetings and intimate screenings. Lounge & Cocktail Bar Catering for 30 people seated or standing, The Cavendish's glamorous first floor lounge bar can host elegant and buzzy standing receptions with plenty of comfy seating.

What a lovely place and what exceptional staff. We arrived for brunch at 11 and our table was all ready, the food options were great and the manager had checked with the chef what was available or what could be changed/modified for vegetarians or vegans. Could not have been more helpful. We didn't feel rushed, the staff checked on us without being overbearing and they were super friendly and chatty. Look forward to visiting again. We both had pancakes and they we exceptional. Thanks so much.

Great ambiance and super service. Not the cheapest place around but we’ll worth it for service location ambiance.

Nice food but feels like pub doesn’t know what it wants to be. It’s a pub that you’d pop to for post work drinks with an expensive fine dining menu. It has a great gin selection but everything’s served with standard tonic and lime which is a bit basic. Nice food but trying too hard for the venue

So even though we got there saying we had a lunch reservation the waiter failed to tell us that none of the main plates were being made at the moment because they were understaffed. Why didnt I receive a call ahead telling me that? Why wasnt I told when I got to the restaurant rather than only 30 minutes later when we had all picked our food. Total nonsense - not going back and wont reccommend.

Arrived on time for a 2.45 table booked on opentable to be told the restaurant has closed and no tables available downstairs. Pretty poor. We went elsewhere.

The food was great however service wasn't. A few points to make: - Staff seemed friendly but not very aware, our area was quiet but it was still difficult to get someone's attention for service - I had to ask three times for water before it was brought to the table - We ordered snacks to start but these arrived after our main dishes. I know that some restaurants bring the food out as it's prepared but this wasn't made clear (if it is the case at the Cavendish..?), even so olives and bread shouldn't take longer to serve than steak and fish and chips. The table next to us had a similar experience. Overall a disappointing experience.
