El Cavalier es una brasserie de estilo londinense, abierta durante todo el día, que se encuentra junto al Hotel Zetta.
Este es el 3er restaurante de los empresarios Anne Weinberg, James Nicholas y chef executive Jennifer Puccio, el mismo equipo detrás Marlowe y Park Tavern. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I had my birthday dinner here last night and unfortunately had poor service. My table was a larger table so needed more attention and we all felt it was hard to get the waiters attention who also wasn’t that friendly. Hopefully I’ll have a better experience the next time I go back.

Overall great experience. The steaks had some cooking issues which diminished our overall experience.

I had a wonderful time at the cavalier, service was excellent and every item we had was great! I would highly recommend the salmon as well thé crème brûlé which is a must have!! Thank you for the amazing night of service! Will certainly be coming back

Great experience. I stuffed myself, and boxed up the leftovers for feasting the next day.

Food was over salted, portions were small, medium steak cooked rare (sent back, was brought back supposedly brought up to temp, but was still rare). For a $150 prix fixe with no beverage pairing, this was absolutely not worth it. The manager did provide a 25% discount but the holiday experience was ruined. The staff were kind and decorations beautiful, standout of the evening.

Hi Alice, Thank you for spending Christmas with us at the Cavalier. It is unfortunate that you and your guest didn't enjoy the prix fixe. I was the one who spoke with you that day. Your two guests mentioned that they steak wasn't prepared properly, but insisted that any additional discounts or accommodations were not needed. As you mentioned, I did discount $125 from your bill and offered to bring something else out, which again, your guest declined. I can understand why you would provide a low score based on your experience with your dishes, but I would like to better understand why the service is only 3 stars. As you shared- the staff were kind and decorations beautiful, standout of the evening- could you share what we could have done service related to match our ambience rating?

The evening was wonderful. From the time we entered. The before dinner cocktail, friendly bartenders & great drink. Wait staff were friendly & welcoming. Food excellent!! We weren’t rushed. Ambience was warm and welcoming. Five stars from start to finish.*****

Absolutely one of the best meals we have had while traveling. The food was exquisite, the service superb and the ambiance beautiful! Music wasn’t too loud so you could talk comfortably with your party. We simply can’t say enough good things about it. What a truly special Christmas dinner! We will be back often! 👍❤️

We always enjoy our Christmas dinner at The Cavalier. There seemed to be a little less choice this year - we all picked the same appetizer and main (not usually the case). However we were all really happy with our meal. Mushroom soup was delicious and the beef filet was 'like butter' - so tender and perfectly cooked. Price seems to have gone up - and options have gone down - but it is still hard to beat.

We had the Christmas day feast here for.6 pepple and thought the overall quality of the experience was great., due to a very festive holiday ambience with good choices for the set menu and friendly, but professional service.
