Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     My party thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, The quality of the food and service was exceptional. We were fortunate to have two servers, Julie and Jessica, who made our experience personally delightful. We have dined here twice and both times were equally enjoyable. David and Michael stopped by our table to welcome us and ensure we were totally pleased with our experience. My only minor negative comment would be that the sound level of the background music was too loud for our liking, because it somewhat impeded our conversations, even with two of my party (including me) wearing hearing aids.

    This was our third visit to this newer Capital Grille location. For context, we have been big fans of Capital Grille for many years, starting with CG #1 in Providence, RI and on Newbury St. in Boston (early 90s). Quality, consistency and customer experience have been the key contributors to this group's long term success. Unfortunately, something is missing at the Southlake location. Last night, with a party of 6, we had drink, food, and service issues. On the drinks, we had mistakes on 3 drinks, and a spill on a customer; and the $30/glass wine ordered was considerably "light", a short pour, which they tried to address. The food was sub par. We tried the Kona dry aged NY strip...it was definitely dry and lacked flavor. We've tried the coffee crusted steaks elsewhere (Perry's and Montage) and found them to be superior to CG. Our guest who ordered the tuna was disappointed, and the scallops were requested with "sauce on the side", but were delivered with sauce on the dish. Lastly, their famous Calamari appetizer was noticeably very light on the delicious cherry peppers for which they're known. Other than our seating location, high-top in the bar, which we very much liked... a very unsatisfying experience.

    The Capital Grille typically offers a good dining experience in all of its locations. I think the CG Southlake is a cut above and is one of the best restaurants in Southlake and the surrounding area. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent.

    We love celebrating birthdays at Capital Grill. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. From the seafood tower to steaks and dessert, we’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend
