Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     I normally don’t post a negative review of a restaurant. I have a high tolerance as I was in the industry. However, the Capital Grille is one of the worst high end restaurants I’ve been to in some time. The food was mediocre, overpriced, and the service was sub par. Please save yourself the disappointment of going here.

    There is no contest on the value and taste of the CG cuisine.. why do we continue to go back week over week? Haley, is by far the cherry on top serving up an amazing experience. The bar is set pretty high to match her smile, customer engagement, expert knowledge of the menu and incredible vibe. In Louisville, KY there are many choices for steak restaurants.. none other have Haley representing their brand! Expert knowledge and refined taste. Truly an experience connoisseur.

    We were visiting Louisville on an extremely active weekend. While we were staying downtown, everything down there was booked solid. We went where we knew we would have a good experience like we always do. We sat in the bar and had a great time with our server, Hailey. She was wonderful, the drinks poured well, and the food fantastic. Highly recommend.

    We had another excellent dinner at Capital grille. We ordered the scallops for our main entree and we were not disappointed. Same thing can be said with the appetizers, salads and side dishes. Shameeka did an excellent job of taking care of us making our dining experience an enjoyable one.
