The Bucks Arms is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching Inn located next to the Blickling Estate. Serving many real ales and great food, we are also dog-friendly with a large garden.

Situated just a mile outside the town of Aylsham The Bucks offers a traditional English pub feel, with picturesque surroundings and plenty of history - while being within easy reach of other amenities and attractions.

Excellent Food - With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect delicious home-cooked food beautifully presented and packed with flavour.

Quality Drinks - We are proud to be a Cask Marque recognised pub and have a great selection of real ales including at least 2 seasonal guest beers.

Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting and changing wine list.

Lunch Table for 4 for first visit to venue. We all had different mains, so good selection to choose from. All very good and served efficiently. Will book again

Lovely food, very friendly staff, nice to have some background music and chatter, fun hearing the kitchen staff singing when the door opened 😄 The brownie was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

Very good food in pleasant surroundings. The service was friendly & efficient. Excellent range of main meals and wine options. We will certainly return.

Treated my wife for lunch on her birthday. She enjoyed her Salmon with crab cakes, asparagus and sautéed crevettes. Great menu, I struggled to make my choices but settled on Hake coated in sesame seed, oriental pickle, tempura king prawn, coriander rice and Katsu sauce for my main. Really tasty.

It was busy so service was inconsistent. We were welcomed by a new staff member who was very friendly and apologetic that she wasn’t fully up to speed as it was her first day but her friendly demeanour made up for her inexperience. We were served by the manager who was welcoming and efficient. After our main courses it was some twenty minutes before anyone came to clear our plates by which time we just wanted the bill. The food was tasty and lots of lovely seafood as well as meaty and vegetarian / vegan options. Portion sizes were on the large side and if I were to go again I wouldn’t have a starter. Overall it was a good experience.

My friends and I regularly meet at The Buckinghamshire Arms for lunch, the food is always delicious, the service is relaxed and efficient and the ambience suits us. On this particular lunch we had three very relaxing and enjoyable hours, we’re all looking forward to our next get together.
