With over 20 years of cooking experience, Chef Matt Garcia brings a new dining experience to Tuolumne County. Classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in San Francisco, Chef Matt has worked with some of the Bay Area's top chefs. As a young chef he was nominated as 7x7 Rising Star Chef, creating beautiful dishes that showcase the freshness of the ingredients and their bright, natural flavor and he continues to do so. The Branch is a place where we come together, to eat, enjoy and relax.

Located under the Twain Harte arch, our casual environment allows you to enjoy yourself with a glass of wine, beer or sparkling in hand. We welcome you to The Branch and we look forward to serving you.

Everything about this spot is perfection. Matt is a phenomenal host as are all of his dishes. The team at The Branch has curated a one of a kind dining experience. The absolute best food you can find in the area and all of its surrounding. The flavors are always well developed and compliment each other, the presentation is beautiful, and the service is always great. We have never been disappointed.

We have been wanting to try the Branch for a while and finally had the opportunity to do so. We kept hearing positive things and wanted to see for ourselves. They did not disappoint! From being greeted when walking in, to the service throughout our dinner, it was amazing. But the best of all was the food. I am not sure what Matt does to prepare his dishes better than anyone else, but he does it! Our food was amazing! With the closeness of the tables, we were able to speak and compare with others and we all said the same thing. It did not matter what people ordered for dinner, they were all completely satisfied. We will definitely be back as often as possible!

My parents have been coming to the Branch for a while now, at least once to twice a month. They have had great experiences each time. When my husband and I finally had to opportunity to go we were beyond excited! Unfortunately, it was not the "great experience" that my parents have raved about. The food was great, but our service was not. The weight staff was kind enough, but they had very obviously forgot about us. It became apparent when the chef nodded over to our table and asked if we were getting anything other than our appetizer. I hope to go back eventually and to have a different experience.

Delicious food with outstanding service. I wish the place had some fancier touches for the cost and this would add to the ambiance and experience. If cost was less, I would attend regularly.

We sat inside where the music selection was great and the staff turned it down a notch. The course selection, both small and large was good. The wine list was nice and the prompt service was wonderful. I definitely would suggest you get on their email list and Facebook page so you don’t miss a new list with open dates for a delicious changing menu.
