The Boat House is Kent’s premier Restaurant, Wedding and Entertainment venue. Winning open table's Diners' Choice award both 2021 and 2022.     The Boat House restaurant and show lounge is the perfect blank canvas for your event. The show lounge boasts two conjoining spaces which offers the flexibility to host an array of events. From wedding receptions, birthday parties and conferences through to shows and parties! The show lounge has a stage area, private bar, adjustable room colour and lighting and a private outside area to create a unique experience for you and your guests. With a large seating capacity and unique catering solutions. We also have a dedicated team that can deal with all your party requirements. With direct access along with plenty of parking the Boat House is a great spot to host a party.

    Our first visit, had a gorgeous 2 course lunch, very reasonably priced. Table was lovely with view of river. All the staff were friendly, the service was great. The lunch was very tasty and a good portion. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we can't wait to go back.

    Food was horrible, roast potatoes hard Yorkshire soft, veg tasteless worst roast ever had out.

    Had friends from Hampshire stay with us and went for lunch for one of their birthdays. We all had a great time with great food and unbelievable service, which made it quite memorable. Thanks to all the staff for a briliant time.

    Would highly recommend for a multitude of reasons… 1. Food …… Absolutely delicious, lots of different vegetables , meat well cooked, nice to have cauliflower cheese & stuffing as extra, nice made from scratch Yorkies ( def not Aunty Bs ) only comment would be, let’s have some homemade Roasties not frozen (Totally understand with the number of clients you cater for this is difficult but this would of made meal 10/10). Brilliant value for money. 2 . Venue/setting/Ambience…….so nice , not too bright, too noisy or too cramped, very clean , well organised, lovely Xmas decorations. Only comment , couple of heaters outside for smokers would be appreciated. 3. Staff……Friendly, courteous , respectful , smartly dressed, helpful , patient, accommodating ( we had a request concerning a mental health issue that was dealt with professionally with understanding ). 4. Waiting time to be seated, drink & food orders taken & carvery served……. Very good especially as they were fully booked & very busy. Think we will be making it our go to for Sunday Roasts from now on. 😃👍🏻😃

    Service and food good. Noisy and difficult to hear conversations. Some staff need to smarten up as one man wearing trousers with tear in and a girl wearing tights with multiple ladders in.

    7 of us, all had carvery 3 kids 4 adults. 2 adults ordered XL roast but where told they could only have 1 Yorkshire pudding instead of 2 because they were running short. This was a 2.30pm sitting so still early in the day. Also the roast potatoes were under cooked and hard and the beef and lamb were both overcooked and dry

    The food and staff were very good. It was noisy but that's because there were a few christmas parties going on. Would definitely go back
