Food was great. Service was great. Singer was great. Spanish DJ guy was rubbish and really detracted from the event.

Stylish decor, disappointed upstairs wasn’t available as window tables will have a great view over the marina. Service was good however everything took a long time to arrive, food could be understood but drinks also took a while. When the breakfasts did arrive portions were good and food was tasty.

Breakfast menu small but I would say something for everyone. My friend and I went for a maple pancake stack that came with pork belly, scrambled eggs and a full breakfast. The only downside for me is the eggs were very salty and more omelette than scrambled. The rest of the breakfast was delicious. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The decor inside is nice and of course the view of the marina also. Will definitely go back.

When we first arrived for our meal we glanced at the menu prices, we were a bit alarmed to know that Halloumi fries would cost £8. Having ordered to drink we had wondered whether we might go somewhere else where the food was cheaper. As we warmed to the environment into the super-friendly staff, we decided we'd order some of the tapas which worked out quite reasonably priced. There's a deal where three tapas dishes cost £23. My lovely friend and I ordered four tapas dishes between us and some bread. The food was exquisite. Each with its own distinct flavour and a large portion for a tapas dish. My friend and I couldn't eat the dishes we had ordered because there was so much of it. So reflecting back to our instant feeling regarding prices and menu, we were wrong. The menu is very good. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and super helpful. The time between ordering the food and receiving the food was very short. The atmosphere was very pleasant, we were able to sit comfortably for two to three hours catching up. I definitely recommend going here again, I certainly will be.

Food was very average. I was somewhat put off when chef was eating food out of his fingers and straight back to preparation. Very inexperienced staff which meant a poor service agreement. I’m Coeliac which I declared twice on arrival and with initial order but serving staff served a gluten mince pie with my coffee - very concerning and I clearly can’t ever risk another visit. Overall this was a rather disappointing visit

To be honest we arrived at 7.38 and we were seated and completely ignored for 25 minutes, so we left and went to the competitor restaurant next door. As we were seated by the kitchen we could see the chefs weren’t busy and the couple next to us had been seated longer and had waited just as long. Staff probably needed more guidance in monitoring all customers especially first time visitors who probably aren’t going to come back now. We were wished happy Christmas as we left by a member of staff who clearly hadn’t noticed that we’d not actually eaten and were leaving

I am regretful to leave a negative review but will be honest. Our first visit last night. We waited downstairs for some time without being acknowledged and finally asked whether we go upstairs or wait etc. bar staff told us to go up where we waited for a long time at our table to be served drinks. There was no cocktail menu on our table and we had to look for one from another table ourselves. We all tried to get the attention of a server to order first drinks but this took around 20 minutes! The drinks were quite good once arrived as was the food. Unfortunately the 1 dish we all really wanted to order was not available (not mentioned to us until we came to order). Not offered additional drinks, had to ask. Not told until almost 10 that you close at 10?! Why?! This would have prevented us from booking had we known. All in all, a distinct lack of any front of house or management overseeing things, no welcome whatsoever, lack of any personality or warmth and sadly a very early rushed finish, leaving some of my wine as the lights were being dimmed/turned off! Your restaurant could have sold us so many more cocktails/drinks/desserts and made much more money from us with some effort. The basics are not there and sadly we wouldn’t return or recommend.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with the food, the venue looks great with the modernisations made since the Boardwalk however the food was nowhere near as good. It was also cold, meatballs need some work too - whole table agreed. We also had our tapas prior to the nibbles which we had asked for the other way round. Staff could also do with some training on service etiquette and not stacking plates on the table whilst allowing the customer to stand behind their empty chair. Overpriced for quality too sadly..
