Black Trumpet Bistro has been a family run restaurant in the heart of Huntington beach. Preparing fresh sauces, soups and dessert daily makes Black Trumpet Bistro a highlight of Huntington beach. We combine fresh ingredients, great recipes and friendly service at a fair price.

The Black Trumpet Bistro specializes in Mediterranean tapas, small plates that bring you flavors from Italy, France, Spain & Greece and right here to Huntington Beach, CA. We also offer full entrees including rack of lamb, meat & seafood paella, a variety of handmade Italian pastas. Cornish game hen, daily board specials, crafted cocktails and extensive wine list.

Wonderful friendly servers and bartenders. This is a very loyal staff which says so much about the owner. Food is always delicious with terrific nightly specials.

It’s always a great time at The Black Trumpet Bistro. The service is excellent. I’m vegan and they do their best to accommodate my dietary needs. The food is consistently delicious. The music and ambience gives it a fun vibe.

About last night—we finally made it to The Black Trumpet! It’s a restaurant we’ve always wanted to try, but reservations can fill up fast. Since we were already in Huntington Beach for a movie, we checked OpenTable for an early spot and managed to get in. And wow—it exceeded all expectations! The place is quaint and inviting, with beautiful art that adds to the warm, intimate atmosphere. The service was outstanding, and the food? Even better. The menu is so extensive that we joked about coming back every day this week just to try everything. I’ve known the owner, Dino Ferraro, for a long time. He also owns Capones, another fantastic spot, along with MonaLisa and another restaurant in Westminster (the name escapes me right now). Dino is an incredible person—kind-hearted, highly professional, and deeply dedicated to his restaurants, his staff, and his family. And you can taste that passion in every dish. It was such a joy not only to dine at The Black Trumpet but also to see Dino there. Great food, great people, great night. We can’t wait to go back. If you haven’t been yet—The Black Trumpet is a must! Check OpenTable and make it happen. 🙂🍴🍷 💝

That was my birthday. Our table waiter was very nice and he made sure everything was perfect. We arrived a little earlier but they took us to the table soon. The table was already setting and location was perfect. Thank you very much. You made all of my family so happy.
