Positioned in the heart of Old Town Toronto at Church and Front Streets, The Berczy is set to redefine the casual fine dining experience, blending contemporary Canadian/American cuisine with Mediterranean influences. With plans for a comprehensive cocktail program, extensive wine list, and a vibrant piano bar, The Berczy is poised for a grand opening in summer 2024 and aims to become a cornerstone in Toronto's dining scene.

    Tuna tostada, steak tartare toast were delicious appetizers. Beet and parm risotto and halibut chowder fantastic mid-course. Rib steak frites main was good, not great. Veal jus a bit unexpected if you don't eat veal. Braised short rib tender and yummy. Nice Côte de Rhone bottle and creative mixed berry cheesecake and tiramisu profiterole for dessert. Live piano player singing lots of Elton John. A perfect Valentine's Day romantic dinner.

    Sampled the winterlicious menu. Food was outstanding and service top notch. A little pricey but if you enjoy a good meal prepared with attention to taste and detail it’s certainly worth it

    This was my fourth time dining there. I am acknowledged like a long-term guest ! My table preferences are always honoured. Food and service was excellent as always. It's great having a real piano player entertaining later in the evening. Not too loud when you're sitting in the dining room. Thanks Luca and Riley and your amazing team - both front and back of house ... Firth visit in the making now ! Cheers.

    This place has a great vibe! I have been there for brunch and dinner. The food has been excellent and the cocktail and beer selections are great. The music was really entertaining and our whole table was singing along at one point. Definitely worth becoming a regular.

    Good food and the piano was nice as well. Very busy night there so a bit noisy but that’s no one’s fault.

    The venue is so beautiful I'm obsessed with their lighting. all of the staff that we interacted with were delights. Our server was really helpful when we were trying to decide between different dishes. Our waters were always full. And the recommendations made were great. The food was also really delicious. We had the four course prefix menu, and all of it was beautifully plated and so flavorful. We want to go back again for the jazz brunch for sure.
