The floor manager, Emily was very rude and condescending when it came to one of our steaks being overcooked. It was ordered, medium rare. It came out, probably well done and instead of coming over and trying to rectify the situation. She was very adamant that the steak was medium rare and we were wrong. Luckily Brooke, our server and Greg the bar manager came over and were amazing and very apologetic. Benchmark is one of my favorite places and when I make reservations again if Emily is working, I will be canceling set reservations. Thank God for Brooke and the bar manager Greg they went above and beyond.

Great food and service. It was very open and loud so I could hardly hear the person next to me and the person cacriss the table could not hear us at all. My filet was excellent as were sides and appetizers.

Great meal and service. Enjoy going here. Eat later and the noise level drops. The beignets were better than New Orleans.

food was perfect, our server was great!! Did not really care for the seat placement in the corner but the restaurant was full so we did not mention it.

We Love Benchmark. Although I wish they’d go back to the other mushrooms. I wouldn’t recommend the ones they’re using now. And I always got the mushrooms with my steak. Not now.

I thought for the money I was about to have an amazing food experience. After waiting 45 mins for our appetizer and the another 30 for our food all I can say is disappointed! Our steak was supposed to be medium but was brown all the way through, it was obviously over cooked. The meat was not tender and very chewy! The bark on the outside was rough to get through. We would of had a better experience at a franchise steakhouse! I do not recommend! Very expensive for the quality.

We have been going to benchmark since it opened and have always had an incredible experience with the food and service. However, tonight was an entirely different experience and my sister and I will never go back to benchmark again. We were seated next to a family with three out of control children in an empty restaurant. After dealing with the noise for a while, we decided it was more than we could tolerate and asked if we could be moved which the staff was incredible and moved us seamlessly. We asked to speak to the manager, to share our experience, and expected her to stop by our table after she was dealing with a crisis and totally ignored us. Which then my sister called her over. She was extremely condescending treated us like we were complainers and had the audacity to say that we should just get up and move to a different table, who gets up and moves to a different seat in a fine restaurant on their own. What a poor example of management at high end restaurant. She did not take the time to listen or apologize. It’s quite sad when the staff has more professionalism and better customer service than the manager that they’re supposed to be reporting into. If benchmark wants to keep their customers they better make some changes to their manager that was on duty 11/ 27 2024. Paulette Cousino
