The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Awarded 2AA rosettes for the last four years in a row for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017, we work hard to provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and a quality experience across all aspects of the hotel. Chef Mark Horton and his team work hard to produce a quality favourites menu with hearty pub classics and an à la carte specials menu. Both menus use seasonal produce and the highest quality ingredients, with full traceability.

The best roast dinner by far! Come here all the time for a roast as it’s well worth it. Quite pricey at nearly £20 but lots of it and very tasty. Staff are outstanding and very attentive. 10/10 for food and ambiance

Thank you. A half-way meeting point with my sister and brother-in-law to exchange Christmas gifts. An excellent Christmas lunch, in an ideal setting. The service was friendly and swift. A very pleasant dining area. Thank you, and highly recommended.

We had a roast dinner which was very tasty and the portions generous. The staff were great too. Even though it was busy, we didn’t have to wait at all. Great service.

We went with friends for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and smiley. Took our order very quickly. We all had the Turkey roast and one of us had the beef. What we had was very nice and hot. The only point to say is the meal should have included pigs in blanket, sprouts and stuffing. We never got any of those. I mentioned the pigs in blanket to a staff member and she apologised and asked if we wanted to take them home with us, which we didn't want to of course. My point is they should make sure that all meals leaving the kitchen should include all items mentioned on the menu.

A perfect dinning experience for two 80 year olds, 50 year old daughter and 16 year old granddaughter. Warm cosy and busy on a cold Saturday night. Excellent range of starters, would recommend the sharing camembert, salted squid and very interesting French onion soup. Chicken risotto provided enough chicken for Billy to eat when we got home. Slow cooked pork melted in your mouth and black pudding was memorable. Only problem was the size of the portions, no room to try puddings so had to make do with good strong coffee.

We had 2 nights here with a fabulous breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly and very professional. We could not fault the whole stay in a lovely hotel & village. We will definitely return and can recommend the Bath Arms with 100% confidence that all will enjoy their stay.
