The Bath Arms is located in the heart of Cheddar and just a short walk away from Cheddar Gorge and caves. We serve lunch and dinner, and offer exceptional accommodation in the form of 6 beautiful ensuite bedrooms. Awarded 2AA rosettes for the last four years in a row for our restaurant and 4 gold star inn for our hotel in 2017, we work hard to provide our guests with the highest level of customer service and a quality experience across all aspects of the hotel. Chef Mark Horton and his team work hard to produce a quality favourites menu with hearty pub classics and an à la carte specials menu. Both menus use seasonal produce and the highest quality ingredients, with full traceability.

Excellent food and table service. The only problem with the Crispy Chilli Beef with Asian Slaw is that I didn't want to stop eating it. It was delicious! Although the restaurant was naturally quiet on a winter's Sunday evening, we know that the Bath Arms had been packed that day with many covers. Despite this, and no doubt feeling tired and wanting to go home, all the staff were really attentive and very friendly. Would certainly recommend.

Have been to The Bath Arms several times now. Their Sunday roast never disappoints! Will definitely be back!

There were 5 of us and we all agreed that the Sunday lunch was delicious. A great amount of food that tasted lovely at a reasonable cost - what more can you ask for. Thank you for a wonderful meal served by lovely young ladies. We will definitely be back

Yet another fantastic roast dinner, I honestly don’t considering going anywhere else nowadays. Perfectly cooked pork belly with all the trimmings. Friendly, quick service. Can’t be beaten for a Sunday roast.

Food was lovely. Belly pork was really tender with a nice chunk of black pudding. The dish was tasty. Fish and chips were good. The batter was lovely and crispy but chips very dry, tasted good though. The homemade tartar sauce was lovely. Wine was a decent price for a restaurant these days. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. Nice to see somewhere that is quite busy and prices not extortionate. Thank you 😊

A warm welcome, relaxed atmosphere, attentive service. The roast was full of flavour, a great selection of vegetables with plenty of gravy with a giant Yorkshire puds & the best sides of cauliflower cheese & pigs in blankets. This is the most delicious roast we have ever eaten & highly recommend visiting. We can’t wait to return again very soon.

Food was very good with wide choice and served in a timely fashion. The lady who we think was the restaurant manager was very pleasant and helpful and looked after us very well. Nice to see the room still decorated which created a good atmosphere. Such a contrast from the week before when we dined at the sister venue the Congresbury Arms which was a total disaster. Cheddar is a much higher standard and run well.
