My first time visiting Barrow House. Me and 3 of my girlfriends met for dinner and drinks. I was impressed with the cocktails and the food. The Shark dish was cooked perfectly! The ambiance was wonderful as well as the staff. I love the individual cozy rooms. The place is bigger than it looks on the outside. Overall - I'll be back!

1st time I've been. Heard good things. Went for my wife's birthday. Ambiance is very nice but it is very loud. Was not blown away with the menu as I had hoped. Food was average at best. Limited menu. I found it bland and the seasonal veggie side dish was not cooked properly. Only dessert offering was a cookie? I would possibly consider giving another chance, but will probably stick to Cafe Matisse for a special dinner out.

Fabulous meal and a great time but we felt really rushed. We actually mentioned this but it continued. It didn’t ruin the night, but it’s worth mentioning.

As always, the Barrow House delivered a stellar meal and hand crafted cocktails with an old time ambience. Always love our times at the Barrow.

We dined in the "Game Room" - with stuffed pheasants, wild turkeys, foxes... Food was very good and the 1917 cocktail (bourbon with mole bitters was very nice. We had the "crispy pig tail" appetizer, that was a first! Our only disappointment was the very short list of desserts. Don't forget to check out the free photo booth in the phone booth!

It was my second time, the first time I attended a tasting event and this time I went with friends for Sunday brunch and it was exceptional.

Overall I thought it was good. It was our second time there. The service was a bit slow which wasn't a big deal but it did take over 20 minutes to get our first drink which seemed odd. Everyone really enjoyed their meal except my only complaint was that my eggs were ordered over medium which would include still having a thick running yolk, and the eggs were cooked all the way through and very dry..

great atmosphere, servers friendly, slow drink service, food very good, could be served a bit hotter, and don't ask for any substitutions the "kitchen" is not very open to that. Had the turkey burger which was excellent, however at first I thought it was under cooked as it was pink, inside, the server said that is how it is prepared and assured me it was fine, which is was. Not much choice of desserts other then chocolate chip cookie or ice cream? would be nice to have other choices; may a pie, cake, bread pudding, something other then just cookie or ice cream.

Definitely not the best experience this time around and I've dined here before without any complaints! They were all out of both appetizers that we wanted that night which was a little annoying. Three out of four of us ordered the skirt steak which was supposed to have chili churro sauce on it. When our meals were brought out to us the steaks had olive oil with a tiny bit of herb chopped up in it....definitely not a chimichurri. When my friend had asked for a bit more she was told that the kitchen was all out which was so weird because it honestly doesn't take much to make the sauce. A host then came out with a side of chimichurri, but we realized it was the green olive oil that was served on our steaks. Why they weren't upfront about not having the sauce from the start is beyond me, but if they were we could've ordered accordingly. One of the steaks that wasn't eaten was comped and desserts were also comped so our server was really trying to make things right. Probably won't come back here for dinner...maybe a drink.
