The team at the Barley Mow were excellent. The catered for my stepmother’s sulphite allergy unlike any restaurant we’ve dined at. The food was excellent, the setting was beautiful and made for the perfect Sunday in London.

The food was very good- went for the carvery - and was exceptional, very nice. Kids food was good. Service was good, polite and ambience good. Very enjoyable experience.

Food was pretty average and certainly not worth the price. I had the sirloin roast, beef was fatty and not much of it for the price. Roast potatoes were good, as was the Yorkshire pudding. Gravy was thin and greasy with little flavour. The veg was good but lukewarm to cold. I also had the onion soup which was a bit thin and lacking flavour. My partner had the trout starter but struggled to find any flavour. The monk fish was overcooked but replaced and was pretty good. Very good ale. Appreciate that the pub is in Mayfair but the food was over priced for the standard.
