The Banyan House has been our favorite since we moved here in November. Everything was good tonight, especially after we were seated in our favorite booth in the back. Lobster, pot roast and salmon entrées were great. (We do miss the Wednesday 1/2 price bottle of wine though!)

Second visit and my husband ordered the pork chop again as it had been fabulous the first time. Last night it was under-cooked and the sauce was not quite as tasty. My rib-eye was a bit tough too. The lobster appetizer had lots of corn but did not see one piece off lobster. It was still tasty though.The other dinners (pasta) were great and the beet salad and onion soup were wonderful. We will be back!

I made a last minute reservation and the restaurant was very accommodating due to the unexpected rain. People had to move inside Very busy but service and server were great. Our food was excellent.

I got together for lunch with old friends for an annual get together. Weatherwise, a perfect day to explore downtown Wellen Park, and Banyan House was a great choice for lunch. We had reservations and were seated at a booth overlooking the lake, as we choose not to eat outside. Lunch was delicious and service great. Fun time.

My first experience here. Service was good although we had to wait a little over the norm for food. Very pleasant experience altogether. Will return

We had a lovely lunch at the Banyan house. The food was quite good and our server Anastasia was very attentive and helpful.

Servers and staff were all very nice. The table we were given was in the back and the noise level was uncomfortably high. They said it was always like that. We were moved to a table in front. Much better but still loud from the bar. Our food was brought luke warm. Chicken dish was rubber hard and manager said it was being taken off the menu because so many people complained. I would give this place another try but sit outside.

The prime roast was very tuff, but the creamy horse radish was delicious. My husband went back and asked for rare which was much better. The mimosa’s were bitter and the bloody Mary’s made with a mix, not made from scratch. Asked for horseradish and (Mary) said they had none. I asked the serve at the roast beef and he immediately fetched it for me. Not much in the way of dessert or salad. The restaurant itself is nice and has a full bar and a large one at that. Four of is all agreed we will never go back. Over priced for what you get. Ot was a disappointment for the family dinner and guest.
