The Bakers Arms is a relaxed, informal country pub that has been serving award winning food in the stunning Meon Valley for over 10 years. Come and enjoy our log fire in the Winter months and our sun trap terrace in the Summer. The pub is in the beautiful village of Droxford, Hampshire, which is part of The Southdowns National Park.

We had asked that we could have the table near the fire but did not hear that it had been fully booked until we arrived. We were offered a larger table a little away from the crowds, which was good. We felt that the starter portion was a bit small. (3 moluscs each) but they were delicious! It was good to be able to taste a couple of wines before choosing which bottle to have. That's most unusual. We were well looked after & would like to return again, but perhaps not at such a busy time, not that we had to wait for long. Peter & Heather Belton

Excellent roast dinner, crispy roast potatoes, loads of different vegetables, very attentive staff!!

What a turn around. This pub used to be fabulous then sadly, it took a huge nose dive. I am delighted to report, today’s experience was just like the old days. Food was delicious and staff and manager were so hospitable and attentive. Would highly recommend.

Our 1st visit to Bakers Arms, meeting up with friends . Had a lovely time, food was good selection on menu was good. A few items had sold out before we ordered but that’s our own fault for dithering. Service was excellent. We were well taken care of. Reason for not 5 *. Veggie selection was okay but not massively interesting.

A leisurely lunch to celebrate Christmas and birthday. Really tasty food and good service. The pub was quiet but that made for easy conversation.

Excellent first experience and will definitely return and recommend. I stated that it was my husband’s birthday and we arrived to a decorated table. Food was sublime and staff were friendly and helpful.

Food was nice for a pub, although the onion rings were overcooked and overpriced and after looking at the reviews I was expecting more if I'm honest. Also there wasn't the same menu on the night that had been advertised on the website. Not overly amused with being put on a table right next to where someone was writing the 'what's on at the Bakers Arms' board. Someone shaking spray cans isn't ideal when it's an anniversary meal ... speaking of which, there wasn't one mention of our anniversary, even though when booked on the website, it asks if it's a special occasion and having stated it was our anniversary I sort of hoped it might of been recognised as such.

Disappointed with the experience, went for lunch on Boxing Day very limited menu no starters no desserts available had I known this we would not have gone. Servers were very poor, disinterested, made us feel as if we were basically an inconvenience to them. If you don’t want to provide the service don’t open for food … it’s a shame because this used to be a really nice place to eat The food was average.
