   We were gutted to find out that the full menu wasn't being served on a Monday, but we still had an amazing meal from the bar menu.

   The food we had was lovely but way overpriced and tiny portion sizes (and that’s from a family who do not eat large meals) The service was friendly and reasonably prompt but with only 3 tables including our it should have been a bit slicker

   Repeat visit as we enjoyed it so much last time and it didn’t disappoint. Thank goodness for the double cooked cheddar soufflé as it’s still amazing. Always fresh local ingredients and a good wine list. Highly recommend!

   Simply amazing from the staff to the food, everything was outstanding, there is not one thing we could find to fault. It was our second time & it definitely will not be our last. All the staff were very attentive, very helpful, friendly & just what we wanted from our time away.

   Had a most amazing meal. Every mouthful packed with flavour and quality ingredients. These guys deserve their place in the Michelin Guide.

    We booked the table at this restaurant 4 weeks ago we decided on what we wanted to order prior to arriving. So to find out on the day that it would be a limited menu because it was closing early for quiz night so never got the steak I was looking forward to. The food we did have was very good. Worth remembering when booking that the first Sunday of every month is quiz night so it will be the same reduced menu. I think this should be made clear on the booking site as it’s a regular thing.
