Booked the evening before. We were the first ones in at lunchtime. Service very good. Roast dinner great- however I had meatless dinner which was great -disappointing that no allowance is made in the price for just having vegetables and potatoes etc- on questioning the server said he could not adjust the price on the till?? I find this unacceptable in this digital age- I would return but not for a Sunday roast.

Excellent Roast at the special price of £15. Great value. Served nice and hot and a generous portion. Very good service too. The only negative was football noise on TV but that couldn’t really be helped at that time.

Match day for the England game, was very hectic. Maybe some door staff for England games to control numbers etc are needed in future as it certainly seems the go to pub for England games in the Cross now.. also, would suggest opening windows on hot days as it was boiling hot in the pub! On positives, the staff were great on an extremely challenging and busy day, kept cool and calm

Lovely food, slightly expensive. Nice pub but a man was sat next to us vaping. Thank you too the young blonde service lady who asked him to stop.

Had 4 things on menu that wasn't available, and what was left, we didn't want. Had a drink, and left to find somewhere for food.
