Dear Valued Customers ,

The Ambassador Training Restaurant is a TAFE NSW licensed venue.

Demonstrating our reputation as a leader in education and training for hospitality and culinary students, the students practice delivering fine dining food & develop their skills within an operational environment.

As we are a licenced venue BYO is not permitted. All dietary requirements must be advised through your OpenTable platform booking in advance. Meals will be served alternate drop - meaning you will not have a choice from the menu and limited facility for alterations.

The payments will be paid after your meal, and we do not accept cash or split bills.

We only take reservations via OpenTable. For larger bookings of 7 people or more, please email ambassador.reservations@tafensw.edu.au

    Free parking is available on campus via 59 Parkes Street, Ryde NSW 2112. At the boom gate, please press the intercom to get access and then proceed up to the top of the campus. The restaurant is located in Building A, Level 4.

                    The food quality was disappointing, and the ambience was lacking. The overall standard has clearly declined compared to previous years. We won’t be returning.

                    We have been a number of times to the Ambassador Training Restaurant and again it didn't disappoint. We all felt that out waiter Ben had served us a few months prior and we were impressed with his increased confidence and demeanour. The food was excellent as seems usual. We will look forward to repeating our experiences at a future date. Thanks to the teachers and staff who have contributed to this excellent experience.

                    It was a lovely evening with students providing a most enjoyable experience, attention to detail and prompt in attending to our every need. Good was delicious and beautifully presented and was more than enough in quantity. Pleasant ambiance indeed.

                    We enjoyed the evening . The food was exceptional, very tasty and beautifully presented. Our compliments to the Chefs who we met afterwards. Our waiter John did well considering it was his first experiencing servicing three tables. Thanks to all.

                    My wife and I enjoyed the meal on 6 Nov. The food was cooked very professionally and the service was good. I really can't think of anything that I can have negative comments on. The student waiter was very attentive on that day. I think the students should really be proud of themselves of producing such a high standard of food.

                    We've had the same waiter a few times - he sadly has not improved - he is unsure and double guessing himself when he approaches or removes plates - he has not mastered pouring wine and he was constantly placing blame on kitchen / bar regarding delayed service and the fact I had booked 3mths in advance requesting gluten free food..

                    We always enjoy dining at the Ambassador. We feel we're supporting the students and always strive to give them encouragement in their course. The food almost never disappoints, but they are very open to customer feedback if there's something we haven't enjoyed. We will continue to dine at the Ambassador whenever we have the opportunity.
