Thames Landing brings you modern New England fare—centered around seafood, local meat, and seasonal vegetables—in an airy, bright dining room and on our expansive garden patio.

Menu includes appetizers like salt cod croquettes, mussels and deviled eggs, a variety of salads and entrees that range from lobster rolls and smashed burgers to lobster dinners and NY strip steaks.

A private dining room remains in place and a cozy expanded outdoor seating area is now available.

Thames Landing was close to our hotel and have it a shot. We were very happy with the food- I had the smash burger which was delicious and my wife had the pasta with lobster and she said it was perfect. Service was on point- very nice and was attentive. The ambience could be a bit better/ the lighting was a shade too light in my opinion but overall was a great experience and we would go back.

The waitress did the basic job. We had several waitresses in Portland who were exuberant and friendly. This young woman did the basic job. No real greeting, no small talk just to the point. My salad with fish was so greasy I could not eat it. Our waitress did not come back to check on our food.

The menu is bleak, service was amateur, food was terrible to tolerable depending on what we all ate. We even sent one dish back.

Wonderful service! It was so refreshing to have service staff excited to wait on you. Really enjoyed our dinner, fantastic food, and ambience!

We visited and had dinner at Thames tonight! Tomato soup bread bowl was amazing! Fried dough dessert was to die for! Will be back for sure!! Modern, clean restaurant with great wait staff! Great job Renae & Mark! ❤️

Bartender was friendly and skillful—especially enjoyed the whisky smash. Tried the deviled eggs, which were delicious with mustard seed, and took a break from the lobster rolls and ordered the farm-to-table chicken, which was perfectly satisfying.

The staff was very friendly and efficient… The owners were so kind and even sent us home with complementary samples of blueberry pie and local ice creams… made by an older couple from the milk of their dairy cows 10 miles outside Portland . Talk about “ farm to table !” Every dish we ordered was quite good. Mark and Renae, the owners, are enthusiastic about their offerings and their restaurants (they also own Naves Cafe next door . )
