It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent's goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out. We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

At Texas Roadhouse our team has an incredible sense of pride in everything we do. Our passion ensures you have a Legendary Experience every time. Because of our passion for our guests and our communities, our team members are involved outside the restaurants in their local communities as a way to give back.

Enjoyed my First experience at Texas Roadhouse at Shangrila Plaza. Keep up the good work to those of the staff who helped and served our food and my day on my Birthday.

Very attentive staff. Everyone was moving quickly, dispensing orders, cleaning tables. We were there sunday lunch and evryone was being served promptly. On top of this, and even with the influx, servers were polite and nice and cheerful. Food was great. California salad was good. St Louis ribs was excellently marinated and fall-off-the-bones soft. Monterey chicken worked great with the chili con carne dip (for the crisps). Sirloin steak was a bit dry, but then person who ordered chose well-done so this was expected. We didn’t order any of their drinks, so can’t say anything about it. Overall, good. Will def return.

Compared to other branches, Shangrila is similar in terms of: - long wait times in food service - multiple follow throughs on orders not served Shangrila is dissimilar in terms of: - staff / crew pleasantness ( other branches seemed more happier and excited despite the crowd - staff / crew always in a hurry

Manager in charge is not smiling at the time, though. I guess, mahiyain pa, new face to me, since in a month, we dine at Texas Shangrila 4-5 times. Thanks to the waiter-Rhea, shes smiling all-throughout the time we spent and everytime she delivers and attends to our needs, she is really happy with our presence. Although we were expecting to received a complimentary treat since we are celebrating our birthday, its ok. Not a big deal on that.

Our server was really friendly and attentive but I can't say the same for the others who were not assigned to our table. The food is great. We didn't finish the California salad though - too sweet and the greens were not as fresh or of premium quality.
